This private 3-hour session combines:
basic and advanced mind-body coping techniques
simple and practical breath work exercises
strategic movement and positioning to progress labor to help birthing parents prepare their bodies for physiological labor.
The comprehensive session also includes strategies to progress labor through movement and emotional coping techniques to reduce fear and anxiety around birth.

Janel teaches private classes centering on mindful movement in the vinyasa method, a flow-style yoga linking breath to movement. Classes combine mindfulness-based meditation and breath work into an invigorating athletic flow. Expect to build heat and close class in a restful restorative pose. Classes can be in-person or virtual.

Janel’s yoga class guides students to trust their bodies and the unique physiological wisdom they contain. Janel creates a non-judgmental space for expecting students to explore their breath, learn about their bodies, and support each other through stories and shared experiences. In class, expect to build gentle heat and strength.
